The Besi Association, based in New York City, serves as a cultural and support hub for the community originating from the village of Besi in Montenegro. Dedicated to preserving our rich heritage and helping members adapt to their new surroundings, the association provides a range of services. These include cultural events, language classes, educational programs, and job skills workshops. We foster a sense of belonging by celebrating traditions, organizing community gatherings, and offering vital assistance during challenging times, such as during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Besi Association is a vital lifeline that bridges the gap between the past and present, ensuring the thriving cultural identity of its community in the heart of a bustling metropolis.
