✨ Dasma Jonë – A Celebration of Our Traditions ✨

Shoqata Besi and Shkolla Fol Shqip proudly presented “Dasma Jonë”, a heartfelt performance showcasing the rich and beautiful traditions of a traditional Albanian wedding from our cherished region. 🇦🇱

Our incredible students brought this vision to life through extra practices, learning every dance step, lyric, and custom with passion and pride. Not only did they rehearse — they connected with the traditions of past generations, gaining a deeper understanding of who we are and where we come from. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to:

As the year wraps up, we proudly celebrate the first year of Shkolla Fol Shqip and the end of an incredible fall semester!

This semester was packed with love, laughter, and friendship. From meeting President Vjosa Osmani, enjoying a fall day at Hanks Pumpkintown, being part of a DJ Jack music video, performing at Festa Flamurit, performing at City Hall for Albanian Independence Day to welcoming amazing guests like Bob Holden, Edith Shkreli, and the NYPD & PAPD societies – we’ve been BUSY!

A huge thank you to the Shoqata Besi Board, committee members, supportive parents, and our amazing students – we love you and we’ll see you all next semester!
